Ras Gas 3 – Trains 6 & 7

Project calls for the construction of 2 new trains at the existing Ras Gas II plant, each having a capacity of 7.8 million t/y at Ras Laffan.
The aim of the project is to supply the US with 15.6 million t/y of LNG.
The project will also involve acquiring 2 new LNG carriers and building of a new re-gasification terminal in the US.
